About Pure Solitaire

Pure Solitaire is a free solitaire site with 44 variants that open and deal in one click. No signup, no download, no app, nothing to pay for. It is built and run by Yoda Games, an independent studio — not a games portal or a publisher.

What Pure Solitaire Is

Open any game page and the cards are already dealt. Alongside classic Klondike you will find Spider, FreeCell, Yukon, Pyramid, TriPeaks, Forty Thieves and 37 more — 44 variants in total, each with a written guide covering the rules, the odds and the strategy that actually matters.

Every game has a hint button and unlimited undo, so a bad line never ends the session. The site remembers your best times and win rate on your own device. It is available in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

Large Cards

There is a Large cards toggle in the settings menu on every game. It enlarges the card faces for easier reading and stays on for future visits. We mention it here because the people who ask us for it most often — activity staff, librarians, and players who simply find standard card faces small — usually have no way of knowing it exists.

Who Makes It

Pure Solitaire is built and maintained by Yoda Games, a small independent studio that makes free browser games. We write the card engine, the guides and the site itself. There is no publisher behind this and no games network we belong to.

Because we build the engine, the rules in our guides are the rules the table enforces. When a guide says a sequence can only be moved as a unit in the same suit, that is what the game does — we test the two against each other rather than copying rules from elsewhere.

What This Site Is Not

Who It Is For

Three groups, mostly: people who want one quiet game on a break, people learning a variant they have never played, and activity staff and librarians who need something residents or visitors can open without an account, an install or a device setup. That last group is why every game page loads straight into a dealt board with no splash screen and no login prompt.

An Honest Note on Difficulty

Not every deal is winnable. FreeCell is solvable in almost every deal; Spider 4-Suit is winnable roughly a third of the time even for strong players. Our guides give the real numbers rather than flattering ones, and the hint button will tell you when there is genuinely nothing left to do.

Get Started

The fastest route is Klondike, the game most people mean by “solitaire”. If you would rather see the whole list first, the home page has all 44. Questions go to the contact page.
