Clock Solitaire - Play Online Free
Clock Solitaire (also called Clock Patience) is a purely luck-based solitaire game. Thirteen piles of 4 cards are arranged like a clock face, with a center pile representing Kings. You flip cards and place them at their corresponding clock position. Simple to learn but only winnable about 1 in 13 times.
How to Play Clock
Setup
Deal all 52 cards face-down into 13 piles of 4 cards each, arranged in a clock pattern. The 12 outer piles represent Ace through Queen, and the center pile represents Kings.
Rules
- Start by flipping the top card from the center (King) pile.
- Place the flipped card face-up under its corresponding pile (Ace=1 o'clock, 2=2 o'clock, etc.).
- Flip the top face-down card from that pile.
- Continue placing cards at their positions and flipping new cards.
- If you flip a King, place it under the center pile and flip from there.
- Win if all 52 cards are face-up. Lose if the 4th King is flipped before all other cards.
Strategy Tips
- There is no strategy — Clock Solitaire is entirely determined by the deal.
- The game is won if and only if the last King is the last card flipped.
- Enjoy the meditative, automatic nature of the game.
- Each game takes only 1-2 minutes, making it perfect for quick rounds.
